The Affordable Connectivity Program is administered by USAC with oversight from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

How to Apply

There are three ways to apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program.

Online

You may start by logging in or creating a new account on the FCC website getinternet.gov to access the ACP application online (Online Application Instructions also available in 9 other languages)

If you apply online, you may be able to receive immediate approval.

USAC strongly recommends including a Household Worksheet with your application: English Spanish (Household Worksheet Instructions also available in 9 other languages)

Complete the application and Household Worksheet and send them, along with copies of your proof documentation, to:

Contact your internet company

Ask your internet company if they participate in the ACP or use the ACP online tool to find a participating company near you. Participating companies can help you apply through their company’s application process.

Contact your nearest Navigator.

Get put in touch with your nearest Navigator; a specialist eager to provide guided assistance in navigating complex systems; by emailing Connect@acprc.org or calling 541-510-1873.

After You Apply

Application Approval: After you submit an application, the results will be shared with you. If you apply online, you may receive an immediate approval. If your eligibility cannot be confirm automatically, additional documentation will be requested from you and you will be provide information on how you can submit those documents for review. Sign Up to Get Internet Service

Once your application is approved for the ACP benefit, you can choose a company that offers ACP discounts and sign up for service.

Talk to a participating company to learn more about what services they have available for ACP recipients and to find out how to sign up.

Already Enrolled?

If you're already enrolled in the Lifeline program, simply contact your internet company to sign up for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). No need to fill out another application. You can use your Lifeline and ACP benefits for the same or different services. Check with your Lifeline provider to see if they offer ACP discounts for their services, or reach out to another participating internet company for a separate internet service.
 

If you're in a low-income program with a non-Lifeline provider, contact your internet company to see if you're eligible for the ACP program. You may not need to apply again if the company's application process is approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). To learn more, contact your provider.
